Abstract

In the course of pairwise comparison of a large number of objects, contradictions may arise among experts and lead to a violation of the transitivity conditions. To solve this problem, we develop an algorithm for calculating the priority vector using slice-matrices. The article describes verification of the adequacy of the developed algorithm for calculating the priority vector using slice-matrices. The object of the research is expert assessments obtained in the course of an expert survey in the situational centers of the law enforcement system. The subject of the research is the adequacy of the obtained results of processing expert assessments using slice-matrices. To check the adequacy, it is proposed to use the Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. We present the results of a full-scale experiment to determine the adequacy of the developed algorithm for a large number of compared objects. The developed algorithm for calculating the priority vector using slice-matrices can be applied in the situational centers of the law enforcement system when preparing managerial decisions.
